We are a self-determining tribe, with roots in the Dididaht group of tribes, who govern in a harmonious and balanced way. We aim to be inclusive of all members and we value relationships, customs, and traditions, with honour and respect for our culture and the environment, ensuring that we can continue for future generations.
Today, the Ts’uubaa-asatx Nation sits on the shores of Cowichan Lake and consists of approximately 30 people residing on the reserve and many more who want to return home. It may be small in size, but the Ts’uubaa-asatx Nation is embarking on following the voices of the community who were shared during our economic development plan.
